CentrO is Europe's unique shopping and leisure paradise, made a genuine pleasure by its vast range of facilities for shopping, entertainment and lifestyle activities. It boasts a 70,000 m2 shopping centre with around 200 retail shops, the CentrO.PARK, a 400 m food court promenade, the König-Pilsener-ARENA (with capacity for 12,600 visitors and a place amongst the most successful multi-functional arenas in Europe) and a multiplex cinema. The promenade, situated on the water and lined with trees, has become a favourite meeting place for the Oberhausen nightlife: 20 international restaurants and clubs, discos and sports bars offer an enormous range of options. The shopping centre is broken down into seven different areas (Marktplatz, Marktweg, Hauptstrasse, Park Allee, Galerie, Bunte Gasse und Coca Cola Oasis) – a fact which helps visitors find their way around. The shops offer a comprehensive selection of trendy clothing, shoes and accessories. The Bunte Gasse is located on the ground floor at the entrance of Coca Cola Oasis. There are also 20 kiosks presenting a wide range of gifts and handicrafts. The Coca Cola Oasis takes care of providing entertainment and a wide variety of food and drink within the shopping centre. Visitors are spoilt for choice in the Mediterranean-style food court with 20 plus catering outlets and a seating capacity of 1,200.

CentrO also offers free parking for 10,500 cars. Access to the local public transport system is also comfortable. CentrO’s public transport service operates at 90-second intervals at peak times and also around the clock on weekends and on public holidays.
